Tuition & Fees for 2011-12

Our tuition and fees are competitive, and reflect the level of care and attention that we provide to our students.

  • A registration fee, per child, is required upon filing your child’s application.  It is non-refundable. 
  • Tuition payments begin in September and are due the first of each month through May. 
  • Although the school program is 10 months long, tuition is paid over 9 months.  Tuition is quoted in the yearly amount and then divided into 9 payments. 

When comparing our tuition to other schools, please be sure to look at the yearly amounts.

Programs for Children Ages 3 and 4

9:00 AM to 11:30 AM  or  12:15 PM to 2:45 PM

  • Registration fee - $85 (non-refundable)

Two days per week (Tuesday and Thursday)

  • $1,666 per year
  • $166 per month (10 months)
  • $185 per month for 9 payments

Three days per week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday)

  • $2,080 per year
  • $208 per month (10 months)
  • $231 per month for 9 payments

Four days per week (your choice of days from Monday - Friday)

  • $2,500 per year
  • $250 per month
  • $278 for 9 payments 

Five days per week (Monday - Friday)                     

  • $2,930 per year
  • $293 per month (10 months)
  • $326 per month for 9 payments

Our Hicksville Nursery School Is Expanding

First Step Nursery School in Hicksville is growing!

This year, we opened another classroom and hired two more staff members to meet the needs of families in Hicksville, Westbury, East Meadow, Plainview, and other nearby communities.

We also purchased new tables and chairs for several of our classrooms.
